The Coconino National Forest features several archaeological sites, interpretive sites, and visitor centers where you can learn up close more about the Forest, and its history, pre-historic peoples, flora, fauna, geology, and resources.
- Interpretive Areas: Visit archaeological and nature sites with self-guided walks or ranger-guided tours.
- Visitor Centers: Get information, maps, books, and even souveniers. Some centers feature exhibits, activities, and learning programs.
- Visitor Programs: Learn more about the Forest and its flora, fauna, history, people, and resources by participating in walks, hikes, talks, and demonstrations.
