Oak grassland meadow.
Elevation: 2,300 feet.
Facilities: Tables, stoves and vault type toilets.
Location: 40 miles west of King City, via the Jolon Road and through Hunter Liggett military reservation. Access is by unsurfaced road, 3 miles west of Memorial Park.

Santa Barbara Ranger District
Upper Oso
The area is surrounded by sage, chaparral and oaks and serves as an entry point into the San Rafael Wilderness via the Santa Cruz Trail.
Facilities: 14 pipe corrals, piped water, flush toilets, paved road and an extra large parking area for horse trailers.
Location: 6 miles east of Highway 154 on Paradise Road to Lower Oso “Day Use” area, then 1 mile north to Upper Oso Campground.
Sage Hill
Sage, chaparral and oaks. The area is designated for groups of 25 or more people and reservations are required. Aliso Canyon Trail begins at the rear of the facility and continues to Upper Oso Campground, which is where the Santa Cruz Trail begins.
Facilities: Pipe corrals, piped water, flush toilets and extra large parking area to accommodate horse trailers.
Location: 5 miles east of Highway 154 on Paradise Road to the Los Prietos Ranger Station.

Ojai Ranger District
Piedra Blanca
Jeffrey Pines and shade at the trailhead.
Elevation: 3,100 feet.
Facilities: Stoves, tables, one toilet, two pipe corrals and no water at the site.
Location: Take Highway 33 north of Ojai for 14.7 miles to the Rose Valley Road turnoff. Follow the paved road about 5 miles. Turn left and proceed approximately 1 mile to the trailhead parking lot.

Mt. Pinos Ranger District
Reyes Creek / Piedra Blanca Trailhead
Creek side camping (winter and spring).
Elevation: 400 Feet
Facilities: 1 Pipe corral. No piped water.
Location: 3 miles east on Lockwood/Ozena Road off of Highway 33, then 1.5 miles from the turn off for Reyes Creek Campground.
Thorn Meadows
Jeffrey Pines and shaded camping area.
Elevation: 5,000 feet.
Facilities: 1 Pipe corral, No piped water, 4 stoves, 4 tables and 1 toilet.
Location: Located at end of the spur road, 9 miles south of Lockwood Valley and 23 miles west of Frazier Park.
