The Wayne National Forest offers a 1/2 mile accessible trail for archery with eight target points at the Vesuvius Lake Recreation Area. This is for archery ONLY.
The State of Ohio prohibits target shooting on public lands, including the Wayne National Forest (Ohio Administrative Code Section 1501: 31-9-03 (A)(4)). However, target shooting is allowed within any designated public shooting range.
