Longhouse Scenic Drive (FR 262) Planning Lane Closure

The Allegheny National Forest announced that a section of the Longhouse Scenic Drive (FR 262) between the Elijah Boat Launch and Kiasutha Campground will be down to one lane starting April 18, 2016. The lane closure is due to a damaged culvert.
The damaged culvert will be replaced as part of the Longhouse Scenic Drive culvert replacement and paving project, funded through the Federal Lands Transportation Program (FLTP). Design work will begin in 2016, with culvert replacements and paving to start in 2017.
