Road Conditions
Road conditions throughout the Angeles National Forest, which includes the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument, can change suddenly due to weather conditions or fire activity. Be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially for mudslides, fallen rocks, debris flows, and landslides. Know more about local road conditions before you go. Tire chains or cables may be required from mid-fall through early spring.
