Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests launches Facebook page

Springerville, AZ – November 4, 2014 – Nearly every U.S. Federal agency and all of the U.S. Armed Forces have embraced one of the 60 approved social technology platforms. The Apache Sitgreaves National Forests (ASNFs) has joined this group and is pleased to announce the launch of a Facebook page. The ASNFs will be posting fun facts about our forests, photos that will invite and encourage the public to come and visit, fire information, prescribed burns, and links to job openings on USAJOBs, just to name a few.
We invite two-way communication and responses to our posts. You can find us at www.facebook.com/apachesitgreavesnfs or by searching U.S. Forest Service – Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. Please “like” us, share our posts and invite your friends and followers to do the same.
If you would like to submit pictures of your visits to the ASNFs, you may send them to as_portalcomments@fs.fed.us with the #FB in the subject field. If you wish to submit photos of your family recreating on the ASNFs, please make sure that the body of the email specifically states that “the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests has my permission to post these photos on Facebook,” and make sure that you include your full name so that we can correctly identify you and give you credit.
