Springerville, AZ—November 24, 2014 – All Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests offices and ranger stations will be closed on Thursday, November 27. However, forest law enforcement will be on-call during this national holiday.  Regular business hours will resume Friday, November 28 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As a reminder Christmas tree permits went on sale November 8 at participating Big 5 Sporting Goods throughout Arizona. Permits went on sale on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests at all five ranger districts, the Supervisor’s Office and the Mogollon Rim Visitor Center on November 10. Forest Service Offices are open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and the Mogollon Rim Visitor Center is open Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Permits are selling out quickly at Big 5 Stores, but we still have plenty left for sale on the forest. You may go to any of the locations that sell to get a permit for all cutting areas on both sides of the forests.
