Planning Team

The Plan Revision Core Team is dedicated to the timely completion of the plan revision process. Many other Forest Service resource specialists lend their expertise to the effort as well.

Core Team members and primary areas of responsibility are:

• Forest Planner - Alex Hamilton: plan revision team leader
• Assistant Forest Planner - Brittany Lewellen: planning documents and records, public participation, collaboration
• Ecology - Michael Carpinelli: vegetation, soils, forestry, fire, GIS, website
• Wildlife (vacant): wildlife, ecological diversity, watershed
• Socioeconomics (vacant): socioeconomics, recreation, scenery, designated areas

 Other Forest Service plan revision support personnel include:

• Resource management specialists at the Forest Supervisor's Office and District offices who have an important role in providing area-specific expertise to the plan revision process.
• Resource management specialists from the Forest Service's Enterprise Program
• Resource management specialists at the Southwestern Regional Office and researchers at the Rocky Mountain Research Station who provide additional expertise and scientific reviews.
