Offices
The Daniel Boone National Forest oversees six offices located in and around the Forest. The majority of these offices are District Offices where you can find location-specific resources and visitor information. The Daniel Boone National Forest also hosts several interagency offices that are managed through shared resources or by partners. These interagency offices will not be able to provide visitor information or resources. When planning your trip, contact the appropriate office for your needs to minimize any service delays.
Offices will be closed on all Federal Holidays.
Daniel Boone National Forest Offices
The Forest Supervisor's office houses various program managers and resources used by districts in managing the Forest. This office is an administrative office located outside of the Forest; it does not sell forest product permits or event and commercial permits.

Cumberland District is the northernmost district of the Daniel Boone National Forest. This district covers 182,694 acres and spans eight counties: Rowan, Bath, Menifee, Morgan, Powell, Wolfe, Estill, and Lee. London District extends south from the Kentucky River to the Cumberland River. The district covers 208,044 acres and spans eight counties: Laurel, Whitley, Rockcastle, Jackson, Estill, Owsley, Lee, and Pulaski. Stearns District is the southernmost district of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The district covers 171,185 acres and spans four counties: McCreary, Pulaski, Wayne, and Whitley. Redbird District is a stand alone district located in eastern Kentucky. The district covers 145,850 acres and spans six counties: Clay, Leslie, Owsley, Perry, Harlan and Knox. Gladie Visitor Center is located on KY 715 in the Red River Gorge where it provides interpretive exhibits about the cultural heritage, unique resources and spectacular geology found within the boundaries of the Red River Gorge Geological Area and Clifty Wilderness.

Interagency Offices
The Kentucky Interagency Coordination Center (KICC) coordinates the movement of resources for federal and state agencies within and outside the state of Kentucky. It is located in the Forest Supervisor's Office in Winchester, KY.
