Griffin Creek Road Closed During Paving Operations Beginning August 1

Starting Monday, August 1 the Griffin Creek Road, Forest Road #538 on the Tally Lake Ranger District of Flathead National Forest will be closed during paving operations, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The road will be closed from the junction with the Sylvia Lake Road #538B near milepost 9 to the junction with the Pleasant Valley Road, County Road #543 near milepost 21. It is expected the road work will take place through the middle of August. The paving project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
