LAKEVIEW, Ore. – In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act this month, the Fremont-Winema National Forest will be hosting a field tour this Saturday, October 20.

The tour will be departing from the Bly Ranger District, located at 61100 Highway 140 East in Bly, Saturday morning at 10:00. Intentions are to be back at the office no later than 2 p.m.
Anyone planning to attend the tour is asked to RSVP by 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 19 to Klamath Ranger District Outdoor Park Ranger Eva Jones at 541-883-6717 or evajones@fs.fed.us.

Participants looking to carpool or caravan to Bly from Lakeview or Klamath Falls can meet Saturday morning at 8:45 a.m. from the respective offices.
In Lakeview, Forest employees will be meeting and traveling from the Forest Supervisor’s Office at 1301 S. G St. In Klamath Falls, they will meet and depart from the Klamath Ranger District at 2819 Dahlia St.
