TAMBA, Forest Service to host Tahoe Trails Summit

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) and the U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU) will host the Tahoe Trails Summit, May 6 – 8, 2016, at the Beach Retreat & Lodge, 3411 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. The three-day event will include workshops, presentations, panel discussions, movies and raffles, photo displays, mountain bike rides and a sunset barbecue on the beach.
The summit will also highlight current projects and partnerships, community benefits of shared-use trails, trail work accomplishments in the Tahoe region and discuss future projects. Speakers at the event will include City of South Lake Tahoe Mayor Pro Tem Austin Sass, two special guests from the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, leaders of area trail organizations and representatives from the U.S. Forest Service.
TAMBA is dedicated to the stewardship of sustainable, multi-use trails and to preserving access for mountain bikers through advocacy, education and promotion of responsible trail use.
