Temporary Permits

The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is accepting temporary outfitter and guide permit applications. A limited number of permits are available on each ranger district for various activities including but not limited to: river boating and fishing, climbing, hiking, skiing and environmental education. Land and river pool documents explain the activities, locations and days available for temporary permits.

Application Package Requirements

Application packages must be received by the due date specified in the land or river pool documents.

Payment with a check made out to the USDA FOREST SERVICE based on the following schedule.

After Submission

Turn in the completed Actual Use Report form included in the land or river pool program application within 30 days of permit expiration.
