Recreation fees waived on Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest
The U.S. Forest Service is giving visitors to the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest a free pass for Martin Luther King Day. Fees will be waived at more than 74 day-use sites on the forest Jan. 21.
Fee-free days the Forest Service will participate in this year are:
• Jan. 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• June 1, National Trails Day
• June 8, National Get Outdoors Day
• Sept. 28, National Public Lands Day
• Nov. 9-11, Veterans Day Weekend
The fee waivers are offered in cooperation with other federal agencies under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act. Check trail and road conditions or call the Forest Service office you plan to visit for more information.
