Mt St Helens 1980 eruption 30th AnniversaryThe last 30 years have been a time of profound change. Plants and animals have gained a foothold in the once barren landscape. As amazing as this transformation may appear, it is but the opening chapter in a sequence of recovery that will stretch well into the next millennium.
