Plumas NF Over-snow Vehicle Draft Environmental Impact Statement Comment period extended - open houses re-scheduled

Quincy, CA – The comment period for the Plumas National Forest Over-snow Vehicle Use Designation Project has been extended, with a new comment period end date of March 1, 2019.  The previous comment period expired on January 24, 2019, during the government shutdown. This is the second comment period extension.

Two open houses have also been rescheduled; the new dates are:

  • February 26, 2019 in Plumas County, CA (location to be determined) from 4:00-6:00 pm. Location information, once established, will be posted on the project website.
  • February 27, 2019 in Oroville, CA at the Southside Oroville Community Center, 2959 Lower Wyandotte Rd. from 4:00-6:00 pm.

Electronic comments must be submitted through the web-based Comment and Analysis Response Application (CARA) located at the project specific website provided above. Attachments to comments must be submitted in one of the following three formats only: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), rich text format (.rtf), or Adobe portable document format (.pdf). Comments submitted to email addresses other than CARA, in other formats than those listed above, or emails containing viruses will be rejected.
