Plumas NF visitor map now available

Quincy, CA, March 17, 2014 – The new Plumas National Forest (PNF) visitor map (2013) is now available. The 36”x48” guide is printed on waterproof plastic, folding to a comfortable 9”x4” for easy storage. At half an inch to the mile scale, this map serves as a convenient source of general information on travel, lands, recreation and physical geography when traveling or planning work in the Plumas National Forest.
Maps are available for $10 from PNF offices and online at the National Forest Map Store as well as from many private retail outlets specializing in outdoor recreation supplies.
The public can purchase FS maps for use with the free “Avenza pdf maps” app for iPhones, iPads and Android mobile devices. To download the free Avenza app:

With the Avenza app loaded on your mobile device, the 2013 PNF visitor map can be purchased for $4.99 at the Avenza map store.
