There are approximately 69 trees per acre in the 5 inch to 11 inch range at roughly 15% mortality which yields about 1872 trees for removal.
This is a graph that shows the number of dead trees removed from Ponderosa Park, and their diameter. Over 700 dead trees with a diameter of 12 inches were removed. Trees with diameters from 22 to 33 inches have had less than 100 trees removed at each diameter size.
