Aerial Detection Survey: Quad Maps

Aerial survey missions in Region 2 are flown each year from roughly the Fourth of July through Labor Day.  Quad maps are produced to provide land and resource managers with a rough idea of current insect and disease activity.

The GIS files for the season's aerial survey, which takes a bit more processing, usually become available for download in the winter.

Data can also be viewed throught the IDS Explorer
Explore and query geospatial data from the Insect and Disease Survey (IDS) database, print high-quality 1:100K quad maps, and export data.
