Selected GIS data that encompass Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests are available for download from this page. A link to the FGDC compliant metadata is provided for each dataset. All data are in zipped shapefile format, in the following projection:

Instructions for downloading and viewing GIS data:
1. Click on the ZIP file link.
2. Save the ZIP file to the desired location on your hard drive.
3. Open the ZIP file with WINZIP and EXTRACT all the files to a folder on your hard drive.
4. To view the GIS data, download the freeware ArcExplorer from http://www.esri.com/software/arcexplorer/index.html. Instructions for using ArcExplorer can be found at this site.

Instructions for downloading and viewing Google Earth KMZ files:
1. To view Google Earth KMZ files, download the freeware Google Earth from. http://earth.google.com/intl/en/download-earth.html. Instructions for using Google Earth can be found at this site.
2. Click on the KMZ file link.
3. Save the KMZ file to the desired location on your hard drive.
4. Open the KMZ file. Select Open from the same File Download window you selected Save from.
