Why we don’t sell Christmas Tree permits:

The Stainslaus National Forest does not issue Christmas Tree Cutting Permits

because it would be a significant competition to commercial enterprise in this

area, and we do not have funds to staff the necessary program management.

We would not be allowed to keep the funds generated by the sale of the

trees as it would go into the treasury. Therefore we encourage you to

visit one of the numerous local Tree Farms listed below.
