Volunteer Opportunities on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache

Volunteers are the heart beat of the Forest Service. The types of work a volunteer can perform are many and varied. It is a program that has something for everyone - retirees, professionals, students, and young people, as well as service clubs and youth groups. Some volunteers work full-time for a short period of time, while others donate a few hours a day each week or contribute a one-time service. If you would like to volunteer for any of the projects listed on the linked pages below, or would like to speak with someone regarding volunteering in general, please contact us. In general, volunteers should be prepared with long-sleeved shirts, long pants, boots, and gloves; we will provide hard hats and other protective equipment when necessary. Attention Volunteers! 

Volunteer projects, activities, and events scheduled for April including Earth Day Events have been cancelled.  The forests will continue to follow the most current guidance of the Centers for Disease Control, and local health and safety guidelines. The health and safety of employees, volunteers and partners continues to be our main priority.
