Logan, Utah, September 12, 2013 - The Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and Bear River Watershed Council invites the public to attend the 2013 National Public Lands Day, Millville Canyon fencing project. The purpose of the project is to block an unauthorized stream crossing and repair smaller barriers that have been destroyed in the Big Meadow area.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the mouth of Millville Canyon in the large parking lot on Saturday, September 28th at 10:00 am. Participants should wear protective clothing, long sleeve shirts, long pants, including gloves and bring lots of water. Some tools will be provided but it is recommended to bring your own shovels and picks. Lunch will be provided by Camp Chef following the completion of the project at 12:30 pm.
