 Setting: Small river below Mason Dam (Phillips Reservoir) in ponderosa pine setting.
Scenery: On-site views of riparian meadows and pine forests. 
Fishing area: 2 miles on National Forest System lands  
Vehicle/Fishing Access: Street vehicles or high clearance vehicles
Fish Species: Rainbow trout
Fishing Methods: Fly, Spin, Bait
Angling Season: Summer, Fall
Nearby Developed Recreation Sites: Mason Dam Picnic Area, Powder River Trailhead

 

Snake River

 

Setting: Wild and Scenic River located below Hells Canyon Dam with rugged awesome landscape of Snake River canyon; wildlife- Rocky mountain sheep, elk, bald eagles; historic structures. 
Fishing area: 70 miles
Vehicle/Fishing Access: Street vehicles and high clearance vehicles to some limited locations. Main access by commercial power or float boat or with reservations for private power or floatboat.
Fish Species: Rainbow trout, Steelhead, White sturgeon (catch & release), smallmouth bass, crappies, channel catfish
Fishing Methods: Fly, Spin, Bait
Angling Season: Year-round

State boating rules:  The Oregon State Marine Board has administrative rules for boaters on the Snake River.

Eagle Creek

 

Setting: Spectacular riparian views along this wild and scenic river with periodic views of Eagle Cap Wilderness.
Fishing area: 29 miles (wild, scenic and recreational river)

Fish Species: Rainbow trout
