CoTrails Volunteer Trail Maintenance Event
Join other trail enthusiasts who make a personal commitment of time and passion to our National Forest trails in order to “give back” for all the enjoyment they receive from their experiences in the great outdoors. Take part in the fun and accomplish something great!

WHERE: Pinhoti Trail (P-3)
WHAT: Join Forest Service staff and other trail volunteers as we tackle much needed maintenance on a popular bike and hiking trail in the Chattahoochee National Forest. No experience needed.
MEET: Meet at Mulberry Gap Inn, about 12 miles west of Ellijay, GA.
(400 Mulberry Gap Road, Ellijay, GA)
BRING: Work gloves, sturdy footwear, long pants, lunch/snacks, plenty of water and a daypack to carry it all in as we will have lunch on the trail. Bring a hardhat or bike helmet if you have one.
DIRECTIONS:
- From Ellijay, go 9.3 miles on Hwy 52 West. Turn right onto Conasauga Road (Forest Service 18) and travel about 3 miles to Mulberry Gap Inn entrance road on the left.
- From Chatsworth, go about 16.5 miles on Hwy 52 East. Turn left onto Conasauga Road (Forest Service 18) and travel about 3 miles to Mulberry Gap Inn entrance on the left.
