NSTA Climate Change Symposium-2010
For the second consecutive year, the Forest Service will partner with NOAA, NSTA and Sally Ride Science to present a symposia and related sessions on Climate Change at the National Science Teachers Association annual conference. 2009 Climate Change Symposia, NSTA Conference March 2009, New Orleans, LA
At the 2009 NSTA conference in New Orleans, LA scientists and education specialists from Sally Ride Science, NOAA, and the U.S. Forest Service talked about the basic science behind our understanding of climate change, and global impacts on the atmosphere, ecosystems (particularly forests), and oceans around the world. Approximately 300 science teachers attended the NSTA climate change symposium and related workshops and web seminars.
