Accessible Recreation Opportunities

Senior & Access Passes

Federally-issued Interagency Lifetime Passes are honored nationwide at all Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and US Fish & Wildlife Service sites charging entrance or standard amenity fees. Passes can be obtained in person at any forest headquarters or district office.

Accessible Recreation Opportunities

A continuing goal of the Mendocino National Forest is to make these recreational opportunities accessible to everyone. Although many of these areas already have wheelchair-accessible campsites, restrooms and trails, we are continuing to make more sites accessible.

The Forest Service has adopted the universal design approach to site accessibility which takes into consideration the differing physical capabilities of visitors. We invite you to discover and visit the Mendocino National Forest.

Areas by Ranger District that are currently accessible are listed below. (Not all locations/facilities are 100% accessible.)
