Campground Concession Permits

Campground concession permits are awarded to companies that respond to specific information within a concession prospectus. The map below shows which forests currently have an open campground prospectus, indicated by a red star. The blue stars show which forests will have a prospectus available within the coming year. You can utilize the links to the right of the map to go to the prospectus.

Caribou-Targhee National Forest

The Westside Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest is currently soliciting applications for a special use permit for the operation and maintenance of six campgrounds/group areas and two rental cabins located in southeast Idaho. The prospectus and appendices detailing this opportunity has been posted on the “Fed Biz Opps” webpage, www.fbo.gov. The recreation sites are within Bannock, Oneida and Caribou Counties. 

A “show-me” trip of all of the sites included in this offering has been scheduled for November 21, 2013 which will begin at the Westside Ranger District Office in Pocatello, ID. Applications for the special use permit will be accepted until January 21, 2014.
