Crowdbrite: Forest Planning at Your Fingertips
The Francis Marion National Forest is embarking on an exciting journey to revise its forest plan. And we want you to be involved! That is why we are using Crowdbrite’s web-based technology to gather your input on planning the forest’s future.
From February 11 through April 11, this interactive site will allow you to provide input directly to the Forest Service and share ideas with other interested people. To create a forest plan that truly considers all kinds of values and ideas for forest management, we would like to know…
1. What benefits do you receive from the forest? Have these benefits changed over time?
2. What is unique and special about the forest? If you could take only one picture of the forest, what would it be?
3. What are your favorite places to recreate on and near the forest?
4. What would make your visit to the forest better? What would make your use of the forest greater?
We hope you will join us in this exciting journey! Please add your ideas and pictures to the interactive site between Feb. 11 and April 11, 2013. During that time, click on any of the questions above and you will be taken directly to the Crowdbrite site. After creating a free account, you will be able to post your ideas and view others, as well.
