Forest Planning

Look here for planning documents that guide how the national forest is managed. The focus is at a broad scale: regional, forest-wide, or landscape (watershed) level. Off-Highway Vehicle Travel Management Plan

Mt. Hood National Forest has released a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and accompanying Record of Decision (ROD) for the Off-highway Vehicle (OHV) Management Plan, including Forest Plan Amendment #17.
 


The Mt. Hood National Forest proposes special use permits to concessionaires

The Mt. Hood National Forest proposes to issue special use permits to concessionaires for operation and maintenance of 28 developed recreation sites currently managed by the Forest Service. The proposed action and Draft Preliminary Analysis are available for public comment.
