The Angeles National Forest Learning Center will focus on Conservation Education programs; Nature and Science; Forest History and Culture; and Outdoor Safety and Ethics.
A special page just for Kids and a page for Parents and Teachers that contains information on environmental education, Smokey Bear, and Woodsy Owl programs. These pages will help people of all ages understand and appreciate their natural resources. These programs enable people to realize how natural resources and ecosystems affect each other and how resources can be used wisely.

The Southern California Consortium is an environmental education, outreach and recruitment, kindergarten thru employment program. The focus is to educate underserved urban communities on the importance of natural resources. Currently the program has established relationships in Hispanic and African-American communities in urban areas, with Native-American and Asian programs being established in the near future. The three major program areas are: Community, Education, and Employment.
