Horsetail Creek Floodplain Restoration
Horsetail Creek is a small tributary of the lower Columbia River, located eight miles downstream of Bonneville Dam within the U.S. Forest Service's Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area lands. In 2013, the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership began work at the Horsetail Creek section of the Columbia River floodplain to improve habitat conditions that have been degraded by more than a century of human activity.
