Forest Service Topography Maps: These maps overlay Forest Service roads, trails, and campgrounds on USGS topographic maps. They are available for download by quadrangle, and are geo-referenced PDFs. This means they have latitude and longitude information embedded in them, and can be used with an app like PDF Maps from Avenza to use your mobile device's built-in GPS to show your location on the map.
2016 Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM): Motor Vehicle Use Maps indicate which roads in the Ocala National Forest are open to motor vehicle use, and which roads have been decommissioned or changed to other uses (PDF).
Trail Maps: Explore the Ocala National Forest on its many trails by using these maps, which provide an overview of what you'll encounter along our biking, equestrian, hiking, paddling, and OHV trails. Provided as PDF files, these are suitable for printing.
Recreation Area Maps: Recreation areas in the Ocala National Forest include many activities and, often, a campground. These maps (PDFs) show the layout of each recreation area and the location of campground loops.
Published US Forest Service GIS data are available for download using the Data Extract Tool. You can download geodatabases (.gdb) or shapefiles of forest-wide data, or define your own area of interest. Keep in mind that downloads are snapshots in time, so frequent replacement of downloads are recommended to ensure data is current.
