Working Together
The Alaska Region has a strong commitment to working with our partners and surrounding communities. The forests offers several opportunities for volunteering, develops partnerships, create advisory councils and maintain positive working relationships with tribes and Native Corporations.
The importance of working together to manage all the natural resources grows every year. Working with federal, state, and local agencies, user groups and organizations that want to be involved in public land management is critical to provide the setting and products available on Alaska’s National Forests.
