The Tahoe National Forest contains a wealth of learning opportunities. From the wildflowers at your feet to the hawks flying skyward, learning is a natural result from every outing. Local Ranger Stations and the Forest Headquarters have a variety of resource materials about the forest ecosystems and the cultural history of the area. Special events, tours, and presentations are offered, depending on the season and interests. Classroom tours can also be arranged depending on staffing available. And virtual forest adventures can be found on several websites.
