Join the Forest Service at the Loveland Ski Area for snow ranger presentations. Topics include winter ecology, local history and partnerships. It is recommended those attending be intermediate or better skiers/snowboarders. Interested? Meet inside the Ptarmigan Roost Warming Hut. The route will take you from there to Drifter to Tango Road to Home Run.
Volunteers can earn a free ANRA Annual Pass by helping collect trash and debris along shorelines, boat launches and picnic areas each spring. Participants meet at Sunset Boat Ramp or Green Ridge Boat Ramp at 8 a.m. on the third Saturday of each May. Cleanup typically lasts until noon. Dress for weather changes and bring work gloves, water and shoes for walking on uneven ground. No pre-registration required.
Poudre Wilderness Volunteers are hosting multiple volunteer workdays throughout the summer and fall on flood-impacted trails on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District. Snacks and lunch provided. Volunteers must be 18 or 16 if accompanied by a parent. Find more information online at pwv.org/restoration.
