This event will focus mostly on seeding milkweed and any additional plants we may need. Depending on weather conditions we may begin operations in our third greenhouse-- our solex greenhouse. Our goal is to seed roughly 5,000 cells at this event.
Location: Forest greenhouse located on the north side of Wright Street at 1030 Wright Street, Marquette. Date/Time: 3/30, 10am - 3pm. Lunch: Noon potluck on site. Commitment: One may volunteer for an hour, the day or if you wish can volunteer at any time at the greenhouse.

Description: Held on Michigan's Free Fishing Weekend, this event introduces youngsters to the sport of fishing. There will be two fishing ponds for ages 16 and under, casting contests, free food and raffle prizes and of course, Smokey Bear! Free food is also provided. Generous area service organizations have provided abundant raffle prizes for the kids, too!
