Volunteer with the forest and Southern California Mountains Foundation on Earth Day. The event takes place April 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Miller Canyon Restoration Site, east of Silverwood Lake. This event will focus on restoring lands along a fork of the Mojave River, while improving pollinator habitat and user-created damage near the Miller Canyon OHV Staging Area.
Activities for this event may include invasive species removal, watering and restoration site maintenance, and the collection and dispersal of native seeds.
Pre-Registration is required as space is limited.
Registration closes April 18.

Southern California Mountains Foundation is hosting a celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Big Bear Discovery Center. Visitors can interact with more than 20 organizations and vendors. Activities include:
