Cannon Beach Day-Use Area Improvements Project
The shelter is rotting and will be replaced with a larger structure. Outdoor seating and tables will be placed between the shelter and pavilion. The barrels from the two cannons will be reattached. Site signage will be improved and updated.
Location Summary
The Cannon Beach Day-Use Area is adjacent the Gulf of Alaska along a 7 mile long sandy beach named after the two World War Two era cannons, still existing, that were set along the beach.
