Glass Mountain Escarpment Sage-Grouse Habitat Enhancement
Jeffrey pines are encroaching into otherwise suitable sage-grouse habitat, creating perches for raptors which dissuades use by grouse. Jeffrey pines would be felled and limbed using chain-saws and allowed to decay naturally on site.
Location Summary
Southwest escarpment of the Glass Mountains, Mono County, CA.
District: Mono Ranger District
