Magnolia Non-Motorized Trails Project
The Forest Service has proposed to develop a sustainable non-motorized trail system for the Magnolia area on the Boulder Ranger District. Project Scoping was initiated in August 2013. The Forest Service reviewed comments submitted and refined the proposal. A 2nd comment period was provided on the proposal and map dated September 11, 2015. The EA and draft decision were released on August 25, starting the objection period. The objection period ended on October 11, 2016.
Location Summary
The project area is on both sides of the intersection of Highway 72/119 (Peak-to-Peak Highway) and Magnolia Road, located between Nederland to the north and the town of Rollinsville to the south.
