Clear Branch Dam Improvements
This project looks to conduct dam-specific improvements as well as fisheries related improvements to support local anadromous fisheries. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is the lead agency conducting activities consistent the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for this project. Because the U.S. Forest Service is not the lead agency for this project, it is being cancelled from this project website. However, the U.S. Forest Service is a cooperating agency for this project and will continue to participate through project completion.
Location Summary
Laurance Lake is the reservoir constructed in 1968 by the installation of Clear Branch Dam. The project will impact the dam, reservoir, and pipes below the outlet.
District: Hood River Ranger District
