Baby Bear Timber Stand and Wildlife Habitat Improvement Project
This project aims to improve timber stand health and wildlife habitat by reducing the risk of and increasing forest resilience to fire and insect and disease infestation through a combination of understory tree thinning and prescribed fire.

The project is on the Silver Lake RD, north of the Bear Flat Rd, south and west of HWY 31, and east of Forest Service Road 2415. The legal location is T26S R11E S 11-14, 22-27, 35; T26S R12E S 19, 30.
