Quartz Project

This project would include up to 3,000 acres of vegetation treatments and fuels reduction, reducing insect and disease vulnerability and hazardous fuels. This will ultimately reduce wildfire risk for the project area and local communities.

Location Summary

The planning area is in Ferry County, WA, on the Republic Ranger District, Colville National Forest, about three miles southeast of Republic and two miles north of the Colville Indian Reservation.
