Lake Mary Trail

USGS Quad - Brighton. Elevation gain is 720 feet. Major destinations include Lake Mary (can continue on to Lake Martha, Lake Catherine, Sunset Peak, Catherine's Pass). Trail junctions include Clayton Peak, Brighton Lakes, Dog Lake, Sunset Peak, Catherine's Pass. The trail follows a stream all the way to Lake Mary. If you want to continue on the trail it will eventually connect you to Catherine's Pass and on to Albion Basin. Starting from either canyon, the trail passes several lakes and connects with the Sunset Peak Trail. This is a segment of the Great Western Trail. Please be cautious of moose that live in the area. Do not approach any moose you encounter on or near trails. Moose may seem calm and tame, but they are not! Moose are wild and unpredictable. For your own safety, please avoid these animals. Please do not pick any wildflowers. Picking wildflowers prevents them from blooming the following year. Please leave them so that others may enjoy!
