The Minnesota Federation of Women's Clubs was a primary mover in establishing the first national forest in the Eastern Region; the Chippewa National Forest in north central Minnesota was established in 1908.

Are you a kid that loves to fish?  Are you a kid that loves art?  If yes, enter the 2015 State-Fish Art Contest. Draw, paint, or otherwise depict your favorite state fish and it might be a trophy winner."
