This trailhead parking lot is located along State Route 66 about fifteen miles southwest of Kane, PA and eleven miles northeast of Marienville, PA. Facilities include vault toilets, paved parking, loading/unloading ramp and informational signing. This parking lot accesses the 37-mile Marienville ATV/Bike Trail System. The trail is divided into a Bike Trail Area and an ATV Trail Area. ATVs are permitted on the Bike Trail, and trail bikes are allowed on the ATV Trail. The Bike Trail Area is a 23.1 mile loop rated MOST DIFFICULT and is best suited to trail bikes. It offers a very rocky trail surface that winds and twists through the forest. This trail is not recommended for inexperienced or novice riders. The 14.2 mile ATV Trail Area is rated MORE DIFFICULT and is best suited to ATVs. Restrictions: No winter season on Bike Trail Area. Travel is permitted on designated, blazed routes only. The trail is clearly marked with yellow diamond-shaped markers on trees. Off-trail travel may damage the forest resource or pose a safety hazard to other forest users. ATV riding on unmarked routes is a violation of Forest regulation 36 CFR 261.54a and subject to citation. Use of the trail by ATVs or trail bikes during closed seasons is prohibited. It is illegal to drive an OHV while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Mufflers are required on all ATV's and motorbikes. Lights must be used between sunset and sun rise.
