Little Pines - Site #17

5,300-foot elevation. 84 campsites. Some of the toilets are accessible for visitors with disabilities. Maximum RV length 40 feet. No Hookups. Be Aware of Bear Activity. Little Pines and Manzanita Loops are open and sites are $12/night. Campsites are first come - first served.

Restrictions: 1) FEES ARE DUE WITHIN 30 MINUTES UPON OCCUPYING CAMP SITE.  2) OCCUPANCY IS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.  3) CAMPSITES MUST BE OCCUPIED THE FIRST 24 HOURS.  4) RESERVING OF CAMPSITES IS NOT ALLOWED.  5) 8 PEOPLE, 2 VEHICLES MAXIMUM PER CAMPSITE. 6) QUIET HOURS ARE 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.  7)  CHECK OUT TIME IS 11:00 A.M.  8)  PETS MUST BE CONFINED OR ON A LEASH.

Passes: Adventure & Interagency Passes are not accepted in-lieu of the $12 fee.  Interagency Senior and Access Passes entitle the cardholder to 1/2 price on the camping fee.

Directions:

Location: From Interstate 210 in the city of La Canada, exit at Angeles Crest Highway (Hwy 2) and drive northeast for 26 miles to the signed campground on the left. Call (818) 899-1900 for current conditions and additional information.


General Notes:

As of July 30, 2016, there is currently no water available in the Chilao Campgrounds (Little Pines, Manzanita, Meadow, and Coulter)  Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and campfire extinguishing.

Drinking water We are in the process of repairing a water leak in the Chilao area so water pressure is intermittent. Please boil the water for at least 5 minutes before using. Bringing your own water is encouraged.
