Elevation: 10,300 feet at junction at the Kinney Creek Trail (#22); 11,200 feet at Horseshoe Lake
Trail Description: Begin at the Kinney Creek Trailhead. The trail forks from the Kinney Creek Trail, a third mile after reaching the Byers Peak Wilderness boundary. The trail crosses Kinney Creek, continues southwards, and climbs gradually until a rock garden appears to the east. The trail cimbs steeply for a short distance, but returns to a gradual climb.

General Information
Directions:Take County Road east of Parshall on Highway 40 or take County Road 15, 24 miles south of Kremmling on Highway 9.• Follow either to County Road 30 (NFSR 138). Follow County Road 30, 5 miles to Kinney Creek Road (NFSR 141). Continue on NFSR.
