A pavilion at Cutthroat Bay Campground

This group campground is located in the Arapaho National Recreation Area near Grand Lake, Colorado. There are two group sites that can each hold up to 50 people. The two sites can accommodate 2-4 RVs and each has 12 tent pads and a pavilion that holds 7 picnic tables. Facilities provided include restrooms, trash service, and drinking water. Additional amenities include horseshoe pits and a volleyball court (you must provide the net). Popular activities include fishing and boating in nearby Lake Granby and other nearby lakes and streams. There is no shade, except for the pavilions, as the trees were removed during the recent mountain pine beetle epidemic.

Fees $95 per night for each group site. Reservations are required. Make your reservations at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777 as early as 360 days in advance and at least 4 days prior to arrival. There is an additional $9 fee for this service via the website and a $10 fee for reservations made via the call center.

Directions: In the Arapaho National Recreation Area (ANRA), eight miles northwest of Granby on US Highway 34, then 1/4 mile east on County Road 46.

RV Camping

This group campground has two reservable loops. Each loop can accommodate only 2-4 RVs, although the sites can hold 50 people each using multiple tents.

Fire Information Campfires are allowed in the fire ring provided. Dead and down wood may be gathered from the forest if available. Wood may also be purchased from the hosts.
